Local History Talk More Than Just Gundalows: Adams Point &the Adams Family Tuesday December 11 | 7–8:30 PM Portsmouth Public Library The library’s Local History series continues with historian Michael Provost discussing the Adams Family. Capt. Edward H. Adams, a skilled builder and artist, designed and built gundalows, including the Fanny M. in 1886, the last commercially operating gundalow in the area.
