11:00Welcome and Program Overview - Diane Canada, CTE Program Director, and Ben VanCamp, Chamber Collaborative
11:15Classroom Assignment - Local professionals will work directly with a small group of students to review an android based app they have been developing in class. Professionals will have an opportunity to enhance the app and code directly with the students.
12:00Career Pathways Lunch - Enjoy a lunch prepared by the CTE Culinary Arts program while discussing local career opportunities, education paths, and providing mentorship to the students.

Computer Science Programming Overview
The Computer Science/Programming Program prepares students to create code using a number of languages. The four semester-long courses are offered as Running Start courses through Great Bay Community College. All courses are taught at Portsmouth High School and include:
Object Oriented Programming
Intro to Java
Web Development
