Chamber Collaborative and Leadership Seacoast Present
Trend Talks Sponsored By Bangor Savings Bank: The Pulse of Portsmouth Business
The City of Portsmouth will share the results of the 2016-2017 Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) Survey conducted in partnership with the UNH Cooperative Extension and Survey Center. The BR&E survey will be used by the Economic Development Commission and City Staff to guide the City’s strategies for enhancing the business environment in the community. Nancy Carmer, Economic Development Director, will be sharing a final report at Trend Talks: The Pulse of Portsmouth Business, on Wednesday, January 31st at the Portsmouth Public Library, 175 Parrott Ave, Portsmouth, NH.
Trend Talks is a newly developed cooperative program between The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth and Leadership Seacoast, a local nonprofit focused on developing a base of effective, knowledgeable, and engaged leaders.
Each talk will bring fresh, relevant, and timely information to the Chamber members and Leadership Seacoast alumni addressing the core Leadership Seacoast topics of Justice, Education, Arts / Culture, Economic Development, Government, Health & Human Services, and Environment.
Trend Talks: The Pulse of Portsmouth Business will focus on the results of the Business Retention & Expansion Survey. This extensive survey consisted of face to face visits with business owners/executives. The results show an in-depth picture of the current economic climate in the City of Portsmouth. The findings also identify opportunities for future economic development polices for retaining local business.
Trend Talks: The Pulse of Portsmouth is sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank. Registration for Trend Talks is free for Chamber Collaborative members and Leadership Seacoast Alumni. Registration for the event can be found at PortsmouthCollaborative.org/Events.
