  • NH Art Association holds special exhibit dedicated to the medium of drawing at Levy Gallery

PORTSMOUTH – The New Hampshire Art Association will be showing a members only exhibition titled “Drawings” during the month of August in its Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery.
“We want to show that drawings are not just preliminary pieces, but can be free and loose beautiful pieces of art,” said Carol Reynolds, manager of the gallery.
Drawings in neutral tones such as sepia, gray or black will include those done graphite, charcoal, Conte, pastel pencils, pen & ink, and artist markers/pens. There will be a combination of subject matter, including nudes.
“We want the public to be surprised by the diverse approach and multiple drawing media,” Reynolds said.
