Kick-off to Summer Grown-up Play Date
Dover, NH (June 11, 2018) – Why should the kids have all the summer fun?! Once again the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is throwing open its doors for grown-ups during their last Throwback Thursday event of the “school year” on Thursday, June 21st from 7-9pm, and this time they are kicking off the summer season.
These 21+ Grown-up play dates give adults a chance to explore the museum’s funky exhibits, enjoy arts and crafts, experiments, contests and competitions, and specialty drinks and snacks. Not only will guests get to indulge in beer, wine or a specialty cocktail with our 7th Settlement cash bar, but there will also be snow cones, a chance decorate neon sun visors, and of course build sandcastle sculptures. Wear those sun visors proudly as you cruise Hampton Beach or pick up your kids from summer camps!
This will be the last grown-up Play Date until the museum kicks off the series next October 25th for another “Night at the Boozeum” Halloween costume party. “We’ve got a lot of great fun planned for the grown-ups next year,” said Meredith Lamothe, Museum Educator. “We’ll have an ugly sweater holiday party, mini golf, and back by popular demand, another paint night… just to name a few!”
Guests must have a valid ID to attend. Tickets are on sale online through 5pm on June 21st for $10 and are $12 at the door. Visit www.childrens-museum.org to learn more or to purchase tickets.
