  • Leadership Seacoast Welcomes Class of 2019 in Durham

    DURHAM - Leadership Seacoast, a local non-profit organization committed to the development of informed and active community leaders, kicked off its program year with a retreat held at The Browne Center for Innovative Learning in Durham. Sponsored by Northeast Credit Union, the day-long event welcomed 40 members to the Class of 2019.

    With support from the Browne Center facilitators, the class spent the day tackling team building exercises to create foundations for healthy dialogue to last throughout the six-month experiential learning program. Presentations and exercises focused on bridging the gaps between individual class members’ personal identities, professional personas, civic and volunteer connections and associated understanding of the important questions facing the Seacoast region. The Leadership Seacoast Class of 2019 includes:
