  • The Week Ahead: Here comes the sun

As some restaurants are offering seating for outdoor dining and some retail stores are opening their doors to customers, all of us are still navigating—and possibly blazing—new trails. As you’re doing so, please share your business status, or simply drop us a note to share how you’re doing. Communication and connectivity are more important than ever.

Here are our events this week:

    Wednesday, 5/20, 11 a.m. - Online: Let’s Talk Tourism Please preregister here

This meetup is for Chamber members who are either in the hospitality industry or who have an interest in what the Chamber and the hospitality community are planning. Learn about the current destination marketing initiatives under way through the Chamber and its committees. Share past month's business and projections for upcoming months, including events. Allows Chamber tourism-related businesses to identify trends, staffing needs, and be able to cross-promote upcoming events.

Friday, 5/22, 1 - 2 p.m. - Online: Chamber Chat LIVE!--To Open or Not to Open -- That is the Question

Zoom meeting Online – Signup online, zoom code will be sent out on the day of the event

Join us through Zoom Video Conferencing for our new interactive meetings with Chamber Collaborative President Valerie Rochon, each Friday at 1 p.m. Local, state, and regional guests will join weekly so we can provide updates, answer questions, and hear concerns. Let us know who YOU want to hear from each week.

On Friday's Chamber Chat LIVE we welcome two restaurateurs and two retailers, one in each category that has reopened and one in each category that has made the decision to delay reopening. All will discuss their decision making process.

Hosting the May 22 session will be Ben VanCamp, Vice President at the Chamber Collaborative.

Bring your questions and get your answers. The session is limited to the first 100 registrants and will be recorded and shared online on Friday afternoons upon completion.
