10am–2pm
Come join the Portsmouth Historical Society on November 4th, 10am - 2pm for an exciting, hands-on workshop and create your own bark basket with artist Jennifer Lee. Jennifer has been making bark baskets for 40 years with bark she harvests in the Northern Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. Come and learn about this traditional Native American art form, and take home your own one-of-a-kind basket at the end of the workshop!
This program is a part of the Brewster series and the cost of participation has been significantly lowered thanks to the Brewster family.
