Please join us Nov. 8 for a luncheon honoring women in business. This will be a chance for women who work in the seacoast area to network, connect, and celebrate each other's achievements. A short presentation and award ceremony will take place during lunch and a percentage of profits will go towards a scholarship fund at Portsmouth High School.

The awards are for women in the following industries:
1. Big Business. This award presented by Kennebunk Savings, is awarded to a woman who succeeds in time management, work/life balance and have inspiring stories of thriving in companies larger than 50 people. They display leadership, tenacity, and strength.
Winner: Jaime Yates, Service Credit Union

2. Small Business. This award presented by First Seacoast Bank, is a woman who is known for her management skills, her innovation, and her ability to harness her own agency. She has courage, an entrepreneurial spirit and passion.
Winner: Stacy Moore, Stroll Cafe

3. Outside the Box. This award presented by Colliers International of New Hampshire and Maine, is given to a woman whose had an unconventional career. She demonstrates resilience, creativity, and originality.
Winner: Danielle Wieler, Vent LLC

4. Non-Profit. This award presented by Service Credit Union is for a woman who works in the non-profit sector and displays exemplary empathy, leadership, and the desire to seek change in her community.
Winner: Latonya Wallace, New Hampshire Community Loan Fund

Description

This event will also serve as the kickoff of a educational series we will be hosting geared toward the challenges and struggles women in business experience. Our panel of speakers will be themed in their expert fields: the non-profit sector, big business, the arts, and small business owners. These educational series will provide women with the tools and resources they need to become a success in their chosen field and perhaps get a little inspiration from these women's stories along the way. We hope you will join us.
