Description

The YMCA of the Seacost will be showing the acclaimed movie Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science
of Hope, followed by a discussion addressing the key components to reducing childhood trauma and how we
can work together to improve the lives of children. Each participant will take the ACES test. Our goal is to bring intersectional organizations and individuals together to break barriers and access and empower children and families to reach a life of maximum potential. This can be done by building resiliency in our children, creating trauma informed communities and reducing trauma in a child’s life.
