The fire’s lit, the knives are sharp, and the chefs are ready. This isn’t just cooking—it’s a battle of flavors, creativity, and technique. We invite you to the Japanese Shodown. You’ll savor bites that surprise, comfort, and inspire—and as a guest, your vote will help crown the champion.

Our passion and admiration for Asian cuisine, especially Japanese, is clear to see. Japanese cuisine is incredibly diverse, rich, clean, and delicious, with no boundaries.

Here are five dishes that have either inspired, motivated, challenged, or taught us new approaches to cooking.

MENU $49 prix fixe, $15 a la carte

Miso Soup grated carrot + daikon radish

Katsudon (Fried pork) pork, eggs, + Japanese bbq sauce

Onigiri (Rice Ball) nori, steamed rice, roasted vegetables 

Red Bean Anpan (Sweet Roll) poppy seeds + hot honey 

Nikuman  (Steamed Pork Bun) mushroom, cabbage, + soy sauce  

Unagi Nigiri (Sushi) American eel, wasabi mayonnaise, + sushi ginger
