Felting Workshops at CMNH with Rachel Benson of The Fiber Web

Learn the basics of felting in this free open-ended, drop-in workshop, included with museum admission. Children and families are invited to watch a demo and feel a variety of felted items and different types of wool, as well as experiment with wet felting and take home a tiny felted acorn. This workshop is included with regular Museum admission and free for members. No separate registration required—please reserve tickets online for the Saturday morning play session, 9am–Noon. Rachel is a fiber artist whose work is currently featured in the museum’s Gallery 6 art exhibition “Curious Creatures” on view through September, 2025. https://childrens-museum.org/
