Juneteenth celebrations presented by the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire with the theme “Dreaming Black Art: Gateways to a New Awareness.”

Events in June in Portsmouth include an artist reception, an in-depth conversation on Black masculinity, a live concert, a children's drumming workshop, African drumming, and more.

The annual ceremony at the African Burying Ground in Portsmouth will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19 and that night there’s a concert celebrating “The Magic Of Motown” at The Music Hall at 7:30 p.m.
