Local History Talk More Than Just Gundalows: Adams Point &the Adams Family Tuesday December 11 | 7–8:30 PM Portsmouth Public Library The library’s Local History series continues with historian Michael Provost discussing the Adams Family. Capt. Edward H. Adams, a skilled builder and artist, designed and built gundalows, including the Fanny M. in 1886, the last commercially operating gundalow in the area. His work have inspired many generations to learn about maritime history. Come and hear more about Adams Point and the Adams family legacy
