Description
Choral concert featuring "The World Beloved: A Blue Grass Mass" by Carol Barnett. This choral work, accompanied by a five-piece blue grass band, premiered in 2007 and was later performed in consecutive years at Carnegie Hall. In continued celebration of the hundredth anniversary of Leonard Bernstein's birth an arrangement by Bill Cutter of the composer's popular works ("West Side Story", "Candide", and "Wonderful Town") will provide an afternoon of music both joyful and reflective.
