The Greater Seacoast Housing Summit will meet Friday, Nov. 8 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Garrison Wing Conference Center, 789 Central Ave., Dover.
This annual event is a solutions-oriented panel presentation focused on addressing the region’s housing crisis.
What can we learn from other communities? Panelists will share their experiences tackling the unique challenge of housing affordability and supply in communities across the state including Amherst, Candia, Jackson, Nashua, Pelham and Peterborough. Attendees will benefit from hearing what has worked and what hasn't (and why) elsewhere in the state.
Presenters include Carol Ogilvie, land-use consultant; Steve Whitman, resilient planning; Sarah Marchant, City of Nashua and Jeff Gowan, Town of Pelham. The moderator will be Elissa Margolin, the director of Housing Action NH.
Admission is $35 per person which includes a full hot breakfast buffet. Presenting sponsor is Cambridge Trust. The Summit is produced in partnership by the Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast and the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce.
