Description

Approximately 50 million people in the United States participate in some form of running or jogging, which can stress the normal biomechanics of the lumbar spine.

Join Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's orthopedic surgeon and two of our spine-trained physical therapists to discuss the spine anatomy and what happens to the spine over time. Learn the correct form and mechanics of running and the importance of strength and flexibility.

Speakers
Peter Dirksmeier, MD: Wentworth Health Partners Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Erin James PT, DPT: Wentworth-Douglass Rehabilitation Services

Deborah Towle MSPT: Wentworth-Douglass Rehabilitation Services
