Description
Wheelchair Health In Motion (WHIM) is a FREE peer-driven program of the Sunset Hill Educational Institute nonprofit organization. WHIM's mission is to provide the tools to individuals living with physical disability for increasing quality of life through upper-body exercise and positive peer support. WHIM is a state-wide program with sites in multiple communities. April 26th's event is to introduce WHIM to the Portsmouth community with the goal of establishing a weekly exercise class for all abilities at YMCA of the Seacoast. YMCA membership is not required to participate in WHIM activities at the YMCA.
