Seacoast Science Center is celebrating 31 years of providing exceptional coastal and ocean education. Join us at our World Ocean Day Celebration to meet local scientists, divers, artists, and conservationists who are passionate about protecting our one world ocean. Our celebration runs from 10am-2pm and will include educational activities and demonstrations, hands-on games, naturalist-led tide pooling sessions, a beach cleanup and more. On-site partner organizations will include Gundalow Company, NH Sea Grant, UNH Coastal Marine Laboratory, Educational Passages, UNH Marine Docents, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Surfrider NH Chapter, and SSC Marine Fellowship students. Two local vendors will be on site for purchase of lunch: Roots Food Truck and Heavnly Dogs. Attendees are also invited to bring a picnic lunch or snacks to eat outside at picnic tables. Cost: $20 nonmember adults, $15 nonmember children, $5 Seacoast Science Center members, no charge for children under age 2.
