Qualifications• Proven experience as a Bakery Manager or a similar role in a high-volume bakery or foodservice establishment• Strong leadership and team management skills• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities• A passion for baking and a keen eye for quality• Knowledge of inventory management and cost control• Customer-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills• Familiarity with health and safety regulations• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed• 2 years• Hampton, NH 03842: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities• As a Bakery Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery, retail, and takeout operations• Team Leadership• Supervise, train, and motivate bakery staff to maintain a high level of productivity and customer service• Foster a positive work environment and ensure that all team members are working together cohesively• Inventory Management: Oversee bakery inventory, including ingredient purchases and stock levels• Ensure products are well-stocked and that inventory is managed efficiently• Quality Control: Maintain high standards for product quality, consistency, and presentation• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all baked goods meet our quality standards• Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and update bakery menus, including seasonal and specialty items• Keep abreast of industry trends and customer preferences• Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by training staff in proper customer interaction and resolving customer concerns or complaints promptly• Operational Efficiency: Streamline bakery and takeout operations to handle high-volume business effectively• Implement processes and procedures to maximize efficiency• Financial Management: Monitor and manage bakery budgets, including cost control and pricing strategies• Work to achieve sales and profit targets• Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean bakery environment in compliance with health and safety regulations• Ensure staff follows proper food handling and sanitation procedures• 8 hour shift
