Position Summary:
GoodWork is seeking a passionate and fun professional to join our amazing team and advance our mission through program design, development, delivery, and evaluation. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring programmatic excellence and consistent program quality by creating, implementing, evaluating, and overseeing GoodWork’s robust schedule of programs and providing customized, strategic support and coaching to Incubator program participants.  This position reports to the CEO. 
 
Essential Functions:
Develop new and produce all existing GoodWork Programs including the Seacoast Impact Collaborative, CEO Roundtables, Incubator, GoodWork Gatherings, Better Boards and Giving with Impact which is comprised of the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • Vet, secure and coordinate with presenters, speakers, and facilitators to ensure high quality program delivery.
  • Schedule, maintain, and communicate the annual calendar of programs to GoodWork staff.
  • Collaborate with GoodWork’s Fund Development & Communications Associate to ensure that all programs are effectively promoted to target audiences.
  • Identify, recruit, and engage potential program participants.
  • Complete all administrative tasks associated with program registration.
  • Coordinate logistics associated with the delivery of exceptional programs, including set up and attendance at each to capture and communicate follow-up action items.  
  • Distribute, collect, analyze, and synthesize post-program evaluation surveys and share results and key findings with speakers, presenters, and the leadership and communications team to identify insights and strengthen program quality.
  • Recognize program funders and sponsors appropriately in conjunction with CEO.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure that program content and impact data is used to showcase work to the community.
  • Cultivate relationships with key partners.
Other Duties as Needed
 
  • Represent GoodWork in the community as needed.
  • Operational Support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., nonprofit program design and development) plus 5 years of applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with or willingness and ability to learn additional software platforms like MailChimp, and Little Green Light.
  • Comfort with public speaking.
  • Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance.
  • Compliance with all personnel policies.

Physical & Mental Requirements
  • Must be able to move about the facility inside and out 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time operating a computer and other office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
 
Working Conditions
 
This position is primarily based at GoodWork’s Portsmouth headquarters, located at Carey Cottage, 400 Little Harbor Road, with occasional travel around the Seacoast area and an opportunity for a hybrid schedule following the initial training period.  The 40+ hours per week will be spread over mornings, afternoons, and some evenings.    GoodWork offers a flexible work environment, respectful of work/life balance.
 
Compensation
This is a full-time exempt position, forty hours/week.  The anticipated starting salary is $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience. Employees are eligible to receive matching contributions to GoodWork’s retirement program as well as prorated PTO, Sick Time, and Holidays.
