Job Title: Housekeeping Associate

Reports To: Head of Housekeeping
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly, Full-time, seasonal
Pay rate: $15.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, weekend availability
 
SUMMARY:
Ogunquit Playhouse is seeking housekeepers for the 2023 season (April - October) with excellent cleanliness standards to attend to all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within provided time constraints
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms accurately
• Maintain equipment in good working condition
• Report on any shortages, damages, or security issues to management
• Handle reasonable guest complaints/requests and inform management when required
• Check stocking levels of all consumables
• Comply with health and safety regulations to include enhanced COVID-19 cleaning protocols and comply with company policies
• QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach to problem solving and strong decision making skills
• Effective communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening), and knowledge of the English language
• Proven working experience in relevant field
• Ability to work independently and remain motivated
• Helpful with customer service orientation
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED
