PORTSMOUTH—Caring Beyond is proud to announce its upcoming benefit concert, "An Intimate Evening with Josh Ritter to Benefit Seacoast Family Promise," taking place on Jan. 21, 2026, at 3S Artspace. As with all Caring Beyond events, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to support New Hampshire families and communities in crisis - this year benefiting Seacoast Family Promise, a nonprofit dedicated to helping families with children who are experiencing homelessness achieve long-term stability.
Josh Ritter, a nationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, musician, and bestselling author, returns to Portsmouth to kick off his "Book of Gold Thrown Open" tour with this special one-night event. Ritter's music has been praised by audiences and critics alike, with NPR calling him "a hydrant of ideas" with "a capacity for empathy and indignation." His performance will support a mission closely aligned with Caring Beyond's core values of community uplift and family support.
Founded on the Seacoast in 2022, Caring Beyond partners with local organizations to produce annual benefit concerts that strengthen the social safety net for New Hampshire families. Over the last three years, Caring Beyond has donated more than $50,000 to regional nonprofits, including Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County and The Passalong Project. This year's partner, Seacoast Family Promise, provides temporary housing, food, case management, employment education, and trauma-informed support that empower families to secure stable, long-term housing.
"Homelessness can happen to anyone. Our goal is to support families during their most difficult moments and help create lasting change," said Chris McClain, president of Caring Beyond. "Josh Ritter has been an incredible friend to our organization, and we're honored to work with him again for such an important cause."
Tickets for "An Intimate Evening wih Josh Ritter," will be available on Caring Beyond's website at www.caringbeyond.org beginning Nov. 21. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for any local business looking to support the mission of Caring Beyond and Seacoast Family Promise.
