PORTSMOUTH—The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth, in partnership with Portsmouth NH 400th, is thrilled to announce that street.life! 400, a dinner party for 900 plus business and community guests on Congress Street, is now sold out.   

Presented by Service Credit Union, you are invited to join the wait list for the open-air party, stretching from Market Square down Congress Street over four blocks. It's set to take place Tuesday, Aug. 15, as part of the business celebration organized in partnership with Portsmouth NH 400th’s Commerce & Trade Pillar and the City of Portsmouth.   

 
“We couldn’t be happier this year to partner with PNH400 on our annual street.life! dinner to make an even larger affair! Please join us in this celebration of commerce and community since 1623—a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Chamber President and Chief Collaborator Ben VanCamp.   
 
The wait list for tickets for street.life! 400 can be joined at PortsmouthStreetLife.com. Members of the military, veterans, and other community helpers can also complete a brief survey to request a complimentary ticket.  
 
This exciting event will showcase a delightful meal provided by Foster’s Clambakes and Catering with a prosecco toast and bar services by DeeLuxe Bartending and will offer a unique and unforgettable dining experience spanning the 815-foot distance. 
 

And in another history-making move—the event will be emceed by none other than Tom Bergeron, no stranger to Hollywood, or the Seacoast! 
 

The WHEB 100.3 FM alum and two-time Emmy winning host of Dancing with the Stars, Hollywood Squares and America’s Funniest Videos, says, “I’m always happy to be back in Portsmouth, particularly when there’s food involved.” 
 
The street.life! 400 dinner on Congress Street will transform the heart of downtown Portsmouth into an al fresco dinner party, with tables lining the street and guests feasting on lobster, chicken, and corn, and vegetarian options, all topped off with historically inspired Portsmouth orange cake and a complimentary prosecco toast. 
 

Historically an event for Chamber members and their guests, in honor of the 400th, the invitation is for all members of the community to celebrate the anniversary together. Think of this year’s street.life!—now street.life! 400—as in previous years, only grander and appropriately reflective of the commemoration of the City’s quadricentennial.  The event continues the Chamber’s tradition of an annual dinner in an unusual outdoor setting.  We are excited to open ticket sales to all community members to celebrate together.  
 
In addition to the delicious food, the street.life! 400 dinner party will offer a concluding spectacle. This element of surprise will be served up alongside dessert. Throughout the evening there will be a cash bar serving local beer, wine, and cocktails.

Starting with a cocktail hour from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by opening remarks and a 7 p.m. seated dinner, diners will enjoy a memorable evening in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. The celebration concludes at 9 p.m. with memories most-excellently acquired.
