MUSIC: Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival

Description

A feature concert Saturday night with Steve Turner, Chris Koldewey, and the Ranzo Boys, plus winners of the PMFF songwriting contest. Daytime performances from those performers plus Lynn Feingold, Jackson Gillman, Hilo, Lynz Morahn, My Druthers, Donna & Rick Nestler, Linn Phipps, the Portermen, Roll & Go, Alan Short, Audi & Peter Souza, and A.J. Wright & Yves Corbiere, and historical maritime demonstrations from the Dirty Blue Shirts on board the gundalow Piscataqua. Venues include Market Square, Prescott Park, Sheafe Warehouse, and Warner House. Saturday afternoon, a community chantey sing. Sunday ends with a grand finale chantey blast with a song from each performer in Market Square.
