Seacoast Half Marathon

"Join us for the 20th-annual Seacoast Half Marathon, a fun, fast and scenic 13.1-mile race on the New Hampshire Seacoast. The event begins and ends at Portsmouth High School and takes runners and walkers through the picturesque coastal towns of Rye and New Castle. Every participant receives a long-sleeve race shirt and a medal! Volunteers are also welcome to assist with parking, directing runners and more; volunteers can register on the race website. Each year the race supports a different local charity, with 100% of net proceeds going directly to that year’s beneficiary. Over its 20-year history, the race is approaching $2 million raised for Seacoast nonprofits. This year, proceeds benefit the nonprofit Birchtree Center's autism programs. Birchtree operates the only year-round school in New Hampshire that exclusively serves students with autism. Birchtree's experts also travel 30,000+ miles per year to help students with autism and other diverse abilities to succeed in their local public schools.
