  • City of Portsmouth NH Reschedules Halloween Trick or Treat to Wednesday, Oct. 29 Due to Incoming Storm

    PORTSMOUTH – The City of Portsmouth announced that trick-or-treat will be rescheduled due to the impending storm on Thursday, Oct. 30. The new trick-or-treat hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025.

    The Portsmouth Police Department reminds everyone to watch out for trick-or-treaters and the increased traffic on the roads that evening.  
    Other Halloween events this week include: 

    Senior Activity Center Halloween Party: On Friday, Oct. 31 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Senior Activity Center (125 Cottage St.). Come dressed in costume, festive Halloween, or autumn attire. Entertainer Rockin’ Randy Hawkes will play fun tunes. The Senior Activity Center will provide treats. Ages 50+ welcome. This event is free; no reservation is required.

    The independently organized Portsmouth Halloween Parade takes place on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 7 p.m., rain or shine. For details including parking restrictions and road closures go to their website: PortsmouthHalloweenParade.org.
