Internationally Acclaimed Jazz Supergroup ARTEMIS, is comprised of 6 modern jazz masters, featuring Renowned Pianist & Musical Director RENEE ROSNES, GRAMMY® Award-Winning Trumpeter INGRID JENSEN (2019 Jazz Journalist Association "Trumpeter of the Year"); Acclaimed Tenor Saxophonist NICOLE GLOVER, Acclaimed Alto Saxophonist/Flutist ALEXA TARANTINO, Award-Winning Bassist NORIKO UEDA, and Prolific Drummer ALLISON MILLER. ARTEMIS conjures a powerful collective voice from this sextet of visionary bandleaders and composers. ARTEMIS, formed by pianist Renee Rosnes in 2017, is a multi-generational, multinational jazz supergroup known for their remarkable chemistry. ARTEMIS has already been featured in Vanity Fair and on NPRs Jazz Night in America, and has performed on some of the country's most iconic stages, including Carnegie Hall (NYC), The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (DC), SFJAZZ (San Francisco), Chicago Orchestra Hall, and the Newport Jazz Festival, among others.
