This is a part-time, temporary position funded in full by New Hampshire Humanities, in support of Albacore Park’s project, Charting Our Course: Albacore Park Maritime Interpretive Planning.
Albacore Park seeks an individual with experience in social media, visitor services, or the museum field. The selected candidate will assist in conducting surveys and questionnaires with select focus groups for the development of a new interpretive plan.
Pay Rate: Stipend of $600 for 30 hours
When: Position starts February 17, for the preparation of a symposium on March 8. Work will be intermittent until July 31. Hours flexible.
Duties:

Preparation of evaluation materials

Runner for day-long planning meeting and evening reception.

Conduct social media for the publicity and solicitation of focus group participants

Compose and distribute online surveys, and recording of data

Conduct focus group surveys at events

With Educator, conduct youth focus group surveys at summer day camps
Qualifications: Experience in Social Media administration. Good organizational skills. Reliable. Must be able to work with children. Some evenings and weekends required. Experience or interest in museum operations is a plus.
