EXETER — The KEY Collective, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to sports and other out-of-school activities for Seacoast-area youth, is proud to announce it has reached a new milestone: 40 Program Partners.
Through its flagship #areuin? card program, The KEY Collective connects K–12 students from low-income families with a myriad of organizations that offer scholarships and discounts to sports, art programs, summer camps, and more - always without any red tape or social stigma attached.
The latest group of partners includes summer camps CoastX: Marine Art & Ocean Exploration Camps, Copper Cannon Camp, ForestKids, and Sail Portsmouth Sea Challenge, Musical Arts Academy of Music & Dance, Exeter Youth Basketball, Portsmouth Girls Softball, Portsmouth Little League, Portsmouth Travel Basketball, Seacoast Climb, and a partner unlike any they’ve had before, E Street Surf School.
“At E Street Surf School, we believe every child deserves the chance to experience the joy and confidence that comes from riding a wave. Partnering with The KEY Collective allows us to open the ocean to families who may not otherwise have access—discreetly, respectfully, and with dignity. We’re honored to be part of a movement that ensures all kids have the opportunity to belong, thrive, and feel the thrill of surfing,” says owners Tom and Reid Powley.
“Our 40 Program Partners represent more than just numbers,” says Executive Director Kristyn LaFleur. “They’re a reflection of a community that believes all kids deserve a chance to thrive. We’re so thankful to our all our partners, both long-standing and new, and excited to keep growing in ways that give kids more options and more access.”
This past 2024-2025 school year, The KEY Collective connected a record-breaking 500 local youth to enriching activities they might not have otherwise been able to afford. The organization continues to expand its reach and impact by partnering with program providers, community organizations, and generous donors across the Seacoast.
